The APC, also known as an armored personnel carrier, infantry mobility vehicle, or armored car, is a type of armored vehicle used to transport troops and supplies to the front lines of battle. APCs (Armored Personnel Carriers) are lighter than infantry fighting vehicles and main battle tanks, which makes them more maneuverable. APCs are not used in direct-fire combat like IFVs (Infantry fighting vehicles) because their primary function is transportation. However, they are only minimally armed for self-defense and are protected by armor from shrapnel, small weapons fire, and artillery fire.

LAHORE: Military personnel have taken control of 248 polling stations set up for by-elections in NA-122 and PP-147, Samaa reported. The personnel would remain deployed inside and outside the polling stations during by-elections to be held tomorrow (Sunday). Arrangements have also been finalized under supervision of army in the constituency.
