KARACHI: Workers remittances have surged by 21.45% to about $ 9,736 billion in the first nine months (July 2011 -March 2012) of the current fiscal year 2011-12. According to SBP here Tuesday, remittances jumped by $ 1,719.38 million when compared with $ 8,016.18 million received during the same period of the last fiscal year (July- March 2011).
