I'm going to suggest my institution look at their Online Program with this tool...just to get an idea of what might need to be improved upon and what we do well.

Have you seen this? Looks like a good tool for whole programs to "take periodic inventories!"

Article that describes a wiki and one is used for a variety of projects. I got this article from Jeradi Cohen's post on Web 2.0 tools.

This is an web-based authoring tool that allows one to create an interactive lesson, and export it as a SCORM 2004 or SCORM 1.2 object which can be imported into a LMS. One can add a variety of media such as voice, text, video, and still images. One can also import a PowerPoint presentation. An interesting feature is that one can intersperse assessment screens to check student learning. Assessments can be graded or non-graded.

Great group collaboration tool. Allows students, colleagues, etc. to add their picture and voice to comment, leave a message, assess a painting, etc. The website will spark all kinds of ideas. Students really like this and think it's cool. Have used it record Elevator Speeches in an online grad class.
