Google Docs is a hosted service where you can create, store and share documents, spreadsheets and presentations and online forms. You can work on your own or collaboratively. You can also import docs from MS Office and Open Office.

Slideshare is a site where you can host your presentations and share them with others. Presentations can be linked to at the site itself or else embedded in a web page. You can also synchronise an MP3 audio file (podcast) with the slideset to create a slidecast - a more powerful way of distributing presentations/tutorials.
Edublogs is "the largest education community on the Internet" where you can sign up for a free WordPress-powered blog. The site provides lots of useful information, e.g. how to use your blog with your students and how start a conversation using your blog. An ideal site for educators who want to blog with support.
Delicious is a free social bookmarking tool. Store your bookmarks online, tag them and share them with your colleagues and students. Easy to use to search for other bookmarked resources.
Wordle is a word cloud generator. Copy in some text and generate the word cloud.
Interesting uses could include having students paste in a paper or summary to see the most common usage of words, try using famous speeches, poems, rss, URLs, or del.ico.us usernames
Bubbl.us is a simple and free web application that lets you brainstorm online. You can:

TeacherTube, is a site where you can host, tag and share instructional videos. If you like a video you see you can link to it on the TeacherTube site or embed it into a web page or blog. It is also a valuable resource of instructional videos.
With Movie Maker 2.1, you can create, edit, and share movies. Build your movie with a few simple drag-and-drops. Delete bad shots and include only the best scenes. Then share your movie via the Web, e-mail, or CD.
Google Alerts provides you with email updates of latest relevant Google results (web, news, etc.) based on your choice of query or topic. For instance if you want to keep up with news about e-learning, type that in as your search term and you will receive notifications of all new Google results that contain that search term. You can also manage the alerts you receive, for example how often you want to receive them.
Google Reader is a free web-based reader to aggregate and read all your news and blog (RSS) feeds. You can also share your favorites with other readers
