iGoogle lets you create a personalized homepage that contains a Google search box at the top, and your choice of any number of gadgets below. Gadgets come in lots of different forms and provide access to activities and information from all across the web, without ever having to leave your iGoogle page. Here are some things you can do with gadgets: View your latest Gmail messages Read headlines from Google News and other top news sources Check out local events and news Store bookmarks for quick access to your favorite sites from any computer Design your own gadget.

Google Alerts provides you with email updates of latest relevant Google results (web, news, etc.) based on your choice of query or topic. For instance if you want to keep up with news about e-learning, type that in as your search term and you will receive notifications of all new Google results that contain that search term. You can also manage the alerts you receive, for example how often you want to receive them.

Google Reader is a free web-based reader to aggregate and read all your news and blog (RSS) feeds. You can also share your favorites with other readers
