A huge collection of science videos on an array of topics from space to life science to geology and much more. http://ictmagic.wikispaces.com/Science
Besides being interesting information, I thought it might be useful to look at this when we do research--to have students decide what kind of evidence they're looking at, practice introducing the information--and citing it since the authors would be cited by their usernames.

Wow--there's a TON of great video clips here. If you don't see anything else, watch Mr. D_Assessment. Fantastic laugh--could be great conversation starter about assessment.
EasyBib is a great site for more than just creating citations for essays. Click on Student Resources for help with the research process, evaluating sources, planning and writing essays. Info screens are short and easy to understand, but packed with important info. For those assigning presentations, go to Student Resources>Research Guide>Improving visuals of presentations.
Great resource for using MLA citation. Pages not only tell what info to use in the citation, but have screen shots of web pages for really clear, usable examples.
Very useful--provides an array of project/genre choices from visual note taking to simulation game and e-book. Includes short description, general directions, and LOTS of choices for tools to create.
"Information is Beautiful released their visualization awards shortlist a couple days ago and if you like visual stuff you will want to check it out." Interesting from both a reading-for-information and creating/composition standpoint.
