COVID-19 Latest Updates & Advice - Family Care Centers, Orange County - 0 views

  •
We are within days from the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic, in California. It means that social distancing has worked, and it was imposed early enough to "flatten the curve". Flattening the curve doesn't mean there will be no outburst in the number of cases, it means it won't be accelerating upwards. Some treatments are showing early promise - tough hydroxychloroquine, perhaps not so much, but we still don't have a definitive treatment for COVID-19 with no vaccine. Many will recover spontaneously, but some will need intensive care in hospitals. If you live in California and need hospital care, hospital resources are there to treat you as they are not overwhelmed. COVID-19 cases have been growing exponentially at an alarming pace. Social distancing limits its exposure and spread. Therefore, everyone is advised to please stay home, maintain 6 feet distance from others, wear a mask, and do not touch your face, mouth, eyes, or nose when you venture out, wash your hands for 20 seconds, and use alcohol gel after touching car handles and other foreign things.
