I'm wondering if we should decide upon basic group tags to help categorize our bookmarks, or if that is even necessary. Maybe "professional development" for sites helping teachers teach, "classroom resource" for websites to use in the classroom, "web tools" for web 2.0 tools we can use in the classroom, "educational games"? Just throwing some ideas out to start a conversation... thoughts?

Great idea Chris. I have started building a tagging dictionary which will give suggested tags for you to use.
I tried it out and it probably needs a few more options but it is a start. I found I used several of the suggested tags and then added one to identify the specific topic.

BTW the tags do not show up until you click share with group
