I think that they were very close because it says that they were old friends

I would say that they were friends in more than one way. Their friendship is complicated because It was the first person ether of them had seen for 16 years and Faria was also Edmonds teacher.

I think they were very very close friends. Faria helped Dantes escape from his idea of suicide, and helped him get back to sanity. Now that Faria has passed there has been a lot of sadness in the story.

I would say that they were very very good friends who had spend a lot of time together and knew most secrets about each other

I think they had a tight bond because when Faria passed away, Dantes wanted to kill himself out of depression hence the tight bond. 

I would describe Edmond's relationship with Faria as a very close relationship I would think they would been friends for a long time by the reaction Edmond got when Faria died 

I think they were very close because I would assume when they were depressed or lonely they would talk to each other and also Faria would have been the only person Edmond could talk to. Also the sadness and depression when Faria dies proves he cares for him.

I think that they were very close because they shared a lot of secrets together and because there was a lot of sadness in Farias passing.

The men say something about 'more weight' saying that they will add more weight to his body. Presuming that he may not get buried. Also they talk about a knot that they have to tie.

The author adds suspense when the two men enter Faria's cell because the two men were talking about the knot in the sheet and Edmond Dante didn't know that he would be thrown of a cliff into jagged rocks and dangerous waters he thought he would be buried

The author added suspense by talking about the knot Edmond had not thought about because Edmond though he was going to be buried not thrown of a cliff with sharp rocks under the cliff.

I think it means that its a chance that doesn't happen often.

He showed us that they were coming to take not told.

The author has given description of how nervous Dantes was but did not say he was nervous.

The author used Show not tell in paragraph 3 by saying His hand placed upon his heart was unable to redress its throbbing, while, with the other he wiped the perspiration from his temples' pretty much saying he is very nervous.

He has said "footsteps were heard on the stairs" instead of the saying "the grave diggers walked to take him away.

The author has done show not tell by not saying he was nervous but by saying his heart was beating and he wiped the perspiration from his temples.

I think the author did it to point out it was all done fast because usually short sentences mean it's slow and so the opposite is fast.

to make the sentence like a thought.

I think the author has been extended sentence 4 in paragraph 1 is because he probably is a writer like me he goes with the flow and writes while he goes and has been thinking up all these good ideas.

Because it is shown to give the reader an Idea of the scene being a procedure. With all the comma's it shows his actions done in a slow motion type of scene, careful and slow.

author Alexandre Dumas has extended sentence 4 in paragraph 1 to say that, that bit in the book went fast so there were no commas because if it had short sentances it would'nt be as thrilling for the reader

Because he was creating the thinking process you go through when you get an idea. I think he does this to create hope in the readers mind.

I think he has extended it to create hope and to make it more thrilling because if it was a short sentence there would be less thrill but because he has made it a long sentence it makes it more thrilling.

Why is Google sending balloons into the sky?

to get Wi-Fi/3g to lots of people and so is easier.

yes storms are coming and cant control the balloons completely

Why do you think Google have tagged the name 'Loon' to this experimental project?

because loon means crazy and this idea may not work and it cost's a lot of money so it is pretty crazy.

there will be less crashes because the self driven cars have a less chance of crashing.

Why is driving in the snow a challenge for Google cars?

because it will be hard to see if the snow is falling and the sensor wouldnt work as well
