Manoush Zomorodi, managing editor and host of WNYC's New Tech City, recalls a conversation with the Washington Post's Mike Rosenwald, who's researched the effects of reading on a screen.

I mentioned this at our meeting in October, but it highlights some growing research on how we have evolved as a species using genomics...including rare variants that have not had enough time to be weeded out through natural selection.

None of these are megacities, but an interesting article with graphs/data.

This is a really interesting series of projects that have a lot of overlap with seven revolutions. Lots of neat interactive presentations, images, and video.

Both a serious and ridiculous example of how people are tackling global challenges.

We have done some work with the Korbel School at Denver, and they have a simulation/modeling platform called IFs that allows you to test out some of the same assumptions we have in Seven Revolutions. I suggest you check it out.
