Using Blooms Taxonomy in education is a highly effective way to scaffold learning for the students. With the recent popularity and pervasive nature of iOS devices in school districts it is essential for educators to understand how to implement Blooms in the classroom using the apps that are available.

Amazing resource for educators. Each category (blogging, wikis, social bookmarking etc…) has 5 recommended tools highlighted to try out first. Great place for educators to start learning a new tool.

Another great site. There is ABC2Learn, Ready2Learn all the way to 2Learn.ca for Teens and Senior High Source. Based on Alberta curriculum but other than history much of the curriculum is the same. Links to great sites and resources for all grade levels.

This site has free audio to download and listen on-line. For example: under speeches you have downloads and links to Abraham Lincoln, MLK, Susan B. Anthony etc. Some are the actual presenter, others are actors and skilled amateurs.
