  In this youtube video, it discusses the idea of energy in waves: a transfer story. This video goes along with my standard, Waves and their applications in technology for information transfer. I used this youtube video because it shows children how by making energy it produces sounds and waves. I would use this video to introduce the topic, and then I would follow up by asking what the children's opinions were and what they thought about energy and waves.
