This University of California website is a good resource for personal professional development. While it is geared toward teachers, it does have a number of useful resources to use with students.

This is currently the quickest way to see what is taught at each level in the NGSS. Clicking on a topic in a grade opens the standard to see the performance expectations, and that will help a teacher know what and how to teach that standard.
