There is so much about dairy farming that is not known by the common public. With the majority of people going back to organic farming and natural products, this kind of dairy products has a lot of demand. But, the farming should be done in a natural way so that it does not cause any harmful effects of the dairy products and, in this regard, Mr. Mahendra Trivedi provides major help.

While agriculture is totally dependent upon the climate, dairy farming does not depend upon the climate, but the cattle stock feed on the grass and other agricultural products. Water and greenhouse effects also have an effect on the agriculture. The soil loses its fertility due to unhealthy practices. With the growing population, the agricultural sector has to be capable of feeding the growing number. And, that is the biggest challenge for the scientists. How to get the yields enhanced by keeping the soil fertile and quality maintained. When the crops are growing at a faster rate, the quality cannot be maintained.

Unlike agriculture, dairy farming is totally dependent upon the health of the cattle stock. With the increase in the prosperity of people around, there has been an increase in the demand for milk and the prices of milk have also increased substantially. The production of milk in the US alone is over 200 billion pounds a year with the milk yield per cow to be around 2200 pounds. But, in comparison to that, the yield per cow in China and India is quite low. It is only around 5000 pounds and 2500 pounds a year respectively. And, this is because the cows do not get sufficient nutrition.

This situation has been the focal point for the business model of Trivedi Group. The Trivedi foundation, under the leadership of Mahendra Trivedi, has come out with an amazing solution towards the dairy farming through his The Trivedi Effect®. Mahendra Trivedi has come up with science, which can comfortably address the most common issues like the milk yields of cows, rate of conception in cows, and the deaths due to various diseases. Once these issues are addressed, the health of the cattle can be maintained well, and it can give a good yield of milk.

    Issues facing the dairy farms:

Earlier, when the calves were born, they were born in the ratio of 80:20 of male: female. This led to a loss of revenue as the male calves could not generate revenue. Other than that, there was a higher rate of mortality, which averaged to around 15% of the total cattle population. The cows were fed dry grass, green grass, maize and concentrated fat supplements along with vitamins. While some cows were still unhealthy, others got infected by Mastitis. It is a disease, in which there is an inflammation of the udders. This reduces the milk levels, and the milk becomes unusable. And, all these issues lead to an increase in the medical expenses.

Experiments carried out by The Trivedi MastersTM:

For proving the effectiveness of dealing with all such issues, the company has been carrying out various experiments. These experiments have been carried out along with Holstein Freisan on the Jersey dairy cattle in India. The results of these experiments have shown:

  • Decrease in Mortality rate

  • Increase in the production of milk by 30%.

  • Conception rate in the cows of 100% (Earlier, it was only around 60%)

  • Higher frequency of calving and the ratio of male: female also improved.

  • Higher resistance in cows for Mastitis diseases

When the Trivedi Effect was applied, the quantity of milk increased. The medication was completely stopped, and the feed was reduced by 50%.
