School Library 2.0

This list of twenty-five websites is broken down into seven categories. The tools range from student presentation tools to content resources that contain lesson plans and project ideas. Best of all the websites are linked to AASL's Standards for the 21st Century Learner.

This page features a list of fifteen different types of Web 2.0 applications that can be utilized in schools. Each of the fifteen pages has five sites explained in detail as well as a list of other sites to explore. There are so many different applications to test on this site you may never surface again!

This is a 9-week course created by the California School Library Association, which educates users on several of the important facets of Library 2.0. Each week focuses on a different area of Library 2.0 and contains information on the topic and a "Thing" or activity to complete. Users from outside of California are encouraged to complete the course and you can access the content without registering.

If the many library 2.0 tools have left you overwhelmed, this is a good place to start. This website contains a plethora of video tutorials that are about five minutes in length (now you understand the creative title). If you have never used a Web 2.0 application before this is a great place to start learning the basics.
