Poll Everywhere is a quick way to take a class poll to stimulate discussion. Responses can be sent via cell phones, Twitter, or web browser. Results can be displayed using PowerPoint, Keynote or the web. Showing results can provoke discussion. Can be used in any discipline and most any grade.
My kids have all created wonderful examples of web 2.0 presentations using this software, as early as the 2nd grade. If you haven't tried it, you should.

This project makes use of a variety of tools, including Cacoo, a brainstorming tool, PhotoStory, Weebly for website design, and Foto Flexer. It was prepared by a middle school librarian.
