Over seven days ago a significant problem hit the main Gulf Coast of the Usa. I have been reflecting to the tragedy, the reaction to it, and what lessons we could draw about management. Be taught more on our related wiki by visiting in english.

Do not fear that is not a political piece..

Session 1 - Leadership is important. Much has been made that parts weren't as organized while they may have been. Leaders could have changed that. Many have said that the first response (at all levels from local for the Federal Government) wasn't great. Control could improve that as time goes by.

Session 2 - Leadership can come from everybody. Not just those with a title, but everyone can lead. Thousands of leadership, and stories of heroism are coming out of these activities. Not these are reports of people wearing a badge or a official name. We are able to all use our leadership abilities.

Lesson 3 - Remarkable leaders understand that responsibility takes too much power. In recent days it seems the target of the 'story' of the disaster has changed in the disaster to who did what wrong and how it might have been done better. Let's be clear. This is a disaster of monumental proportions. Could things have gone better? Obviously. Was the way things were handled a travesty? No. Can blaming and pointing fingers at others solve the situation today? No way. Every ounce of energy being spent in blame and 'Monday Morning Quarterbacking' can be an ounce of energy better spent o-n meeting the substantial problems that remain. Leading to..

Lesson 4 - Remarkable leaders focus on options, not problems. Rather than looking at what's improper, they look at innovative ways to allow it to be better. Remarkable leaders understand that once they are place a at others, four times as numerous hands are going right back at them. They simply take responsibility, and focus on solutions.

Lesson 5 - Remarkable leaders know when to act and when to reflect. Will there be a time to look right back and study from the failures in processes, methods, and responsibilities used during the time immediately following the storm? Yes. Maybe there is people that might need to be held in charge of some of those decisions and actions? Obviously. I recently don't think that time is now. Because it ought to be, I am sure, a study and evaluation can be commissioned. Leave that understanding for then. Dig up more on our favorite partner site - Click here: go here. My bottom line? I really believe that right now, leaders of sorts, from township supervisors, to mayors, to state legislators, to those in government agencies, to Congress, to the White House, have to look forward and work together to meet the many issues we will face for weeks. There is a time for showing and a time for action. Now is the time to look forward.

In your management development keep this in mind. Should people claim to discover more on the tim stephens, we know of many resources you should think about pursuing. Remind your-self of these instructions.
