Kids under 13 aren't allowed on Facebook, but that hasn't stopped many of them from joining. Now Togetherville, a social network for kids ages 6 to 10, hopes to lure them into a more age-appropriate setting, reports the Associated Press.

I was never a big fan of dodgeball growing up. I didn't throw that hard and the coaches always stacked the teams with the kids that could throw the hardest so they could watch the carnage. Those dodgeballs may be soft, but taking one to the side of the head from four feet away leaves a mark.

This is a kid friendly site where they are able to manage and keep track of their daily step counts and daily activities. Great way to keep them thinking healthy outside the class room.

This site has some great ideas and games for kids of all ages.

The NFL Network wants to show the value of physical activity and the important role PE plays in kids lives and is awarding grants to middle school PE programs across the country to purchase new equipment and help keep the programs strong. If seems that even the NFL still doesn't fully know it's PE and not gym!

A great website, incase the school I work at someday has grants or funding available for these games.
