    if the robot goes slowly it can stop when it comes to an intersection and randomize between turning right or left

    ooooooooor you could put a motor with the ultrasonicsensor right in the middle (but not too high cause you only have 3 inches) nd it can stop, spin, and "decide" which way to turn

    omg you can make it always go toward a gap if youre able to make it see ahead that far
