For as long as I can recall, I've been a massive Bruce Lee fan. I cannot count the number of hours I have spent watching his movies, or the number of hours spent trying to imitate his wonderful martial arts techniques. There is one scene in particular that'll be with me until the end of my days; the scene from Enter the Dragon where Bruce kicks some serious theif butt with his trusty Nunchakus.

A generation of wanna-be Bruce Lee's was spawned by that very picture. Exactly how many of you went and aimlessly produced your personal 'chucks after seeing this movie? I used to be truly influenced to-do so, and so were the majority of my friends. Many of us used wooden handles, and after some experimentation chose to switch to some thing softer. Twenty years later, I still have a lump on my head.

After introducing my son to the wonder of Bruce Lee, I decided to create a set of Nunchakus for him to play with. Having learned from my somewhat uncomfortable problems, I made them from those disposable glow sticks that all the Raver kid's use. Listed here is tips on how to make some, too:

Cut a length of string approximately 5 inches long.

Fix two glow stays together with the nylon rope.

    Begin moving.

Undoubtedly, it is a simple design. My first set was built in record time, which should have seemed like a life time to my son as he waited patiently. I made a second set and we spent the morning playing fun ninja activities. Next, we'd a Power Rangers movie marathon. My child is particularly keen on the Red Ranger. I favor the one.

Later on that night, we made a decision to have an additional ninja challenge before sleep. It's amazing how striking Bruce Lee might be. The great thing about our new nunchakus is which they glow-in the dark. I dimmed the lights and performed my most readily useful Bruce Lee effect. As he saw the twirling glowstick nunchakus, my son was com-pletely awestruck. I only hit myself in the top once. Only this time, it did not hurt. the infographic
