The University of Oregon's Teaching Effectiveness Program (TEP) works with educators to assess and improve teaching. TEP provides a midterm analysis of teaching, videotaping assessments, consultations, library search services, and teaching portfolio assistance to the UO academic community. TEP also maintains an extensive library of education resources, many of which are available online.

This site lists many resources and new tools that can make a significant difference in student learning. Chalkboards are a thing of the past, so say hello to new tools such as clickers, blackboards, power points, MS word, and videoconferencing. These tools will not only allow the teacher to teach their students, but it will allow the students to become more interactive with what is being taught.

Glogster EDU creates a digital learning environment, where teachers and students learn technology in an easy to use way. It simplifies the educational process and can be shared for uses outside of the classroom, such as homework.

Kerpoof's multimedia software is used by kids worldwide to create original artwork, animated movies, stories, greeting cards and more. The site is meant to be fun, but we're serious about its educational value. Elementary and middle school teachers can use Kerpoof in many ways to enhance classroom activities while meeting a range of educational standards.

Myplick is a website created to upload powerpoints and share them with a group or publically. The powerpoint is saved to your account once you are done uploading. When uploading the powerpoint it asks the option to add music. I also have the option to see how many slides people viewed and how long the viewed each slide for. Students and parents can download the powerpoint and print it from there. This website is an affect way to communicate with students and powerpoints on what was discussed and about what was being taught in the classroom.

abctools® allow you to create the materials you need when you can't find them anywhere else. abctools are ideal for multi-level classrooms, as well as students with varying learning styles and abilities. Over 60 tools are available to members in a variety of subjects. i love this site it is great for standard 6.1 by allowing us to create and find material to help students learn by doing.

This "Website of the Day" is a fun and educational tool that can be used to analyze assessment data and to guide classroom decisions regarding student learning using technology.
