This "Website of the Day" is very useful for teachers to learn about podcast, create their own podcast, and listen to others. This website is also not only for podcasts!

This website has over 500 different videos of teachers that cover most subjects from grades K-12. It is totally free for teachers, safe and protected, and allows for idea submissions and social networking. Here a teacher can quickly access a video of a topic that they are interested in. There is also a discussion board that teachers are encouraged to collaborate on.

This is great for teachers seeking to stay updated with the technology around them. The site provides information about how to use technology for example as a recorder or to edit audio. The site has information about summer workshops and conferences that are available to teach teachers how to use their technology effectively. The best part of this site is the tools for teaching where many if not all of the tools offered and offers details about are free!!!!

Pinterest lets you organize and share all the wonderful things you find on the web. This site allows you to browse pinboards created by other people. Browsing pinboards is a fun way to discover new things and get inspiration from people who share your interests.

Scholastic.com can be a valuable tool in becoming a life long learner and bettering ourselves as teachers.

Hayley Carney's Website of the Day PBS Teachers has tons of tools for teachers. The "Classroom Resources" tab has everything organized by grade then into subject area. The "Professional Development" tab has many tools for learning how to incorporate ideas into your classroom. There is even a Discussion forum! I will be presenting this website Wednesday, February 6 (tomorrow) during class!
