A useful site that can be used as a starting point to understand other religions and their viewpoint on ethical issues.  I often use it as a reference when teaching both junior and senior RE.

Under the odd hours, they require the store from some place. Be that as it may, they don't get any arrangement in the wake of putting a considerable measure of endeavors. On the off chance that they are recommended and prompted, they can leave their issues rapidly through monthly cash loans.

A great site for those of you who are interested in what your local member of Parliament is up to. Could be useful if you are pushing an issue on behalf of your organisation, sector or the public good. Searches Hansard to find out what your representative is doing or search on a topic; this site makes Hansard accessible in a way that actually searching Hansard does not!

Home - British Pathé - 0 views

This amazing site has a wealth of interesting material. "About Us: British Pathé is one of the oldest media companies in the world. Their roots lie in 1890s Paris where their founder, Charles Pathé, pioneered the development of the moving image. They were established in London in 1902, and by 1910 were producing their famous bi-weekly newsreel the Pathé Gazette. After the First World War they started producing various Cinemagazines as well. By 1930 they were producing the Gazette, the Pathetone Weekly, the Pathé Pictorial and Eve's Film Review, covering entertainment, culture and womens' issues. By the time Pathé finally stopped producing the cinema newsreel in 1970 they had accumulated 3500 hours of filmed history amounting to over 90,000 individual items. Over the last 30 years this material has been used extensively around the world in television programmes, home videos, advertisments, corporate productions and, most recently, in web publishing."

The Conversation is an independent source of information, analysis and commentary from the university and research sector. The articles are well balanced, edgy and very well written.

I love this publication too! It covers so many international stories and issues that don't make it into mainstream news. Thanks for sharing the link to this site Cheryl. I've marked your Diigo assignment as complete on Lore.
