  Saturday, 12/13/03 - good morning. Welcome to our holiday type letter. we are in Arizona now. The sun is shining & it will be in the sixties right now, which should melt the ice on the windows soon. Ana's foot does not seem to be broken, as they thought, so they took a extended stroll in the desert final night. The cone, I discovered, had been dragging along underneath. Nothing at all was broken, but later the vibrant light switch stopped operating.
  
  In Farmington, New Mexico, they spent a few days resting & coughing. they had been about an hour away from purchasing a home when they found it required new wiring, had a garden hose attached to the natural gas line, & other problems they missed on our initial check out.
