NOIDA: Several real estate developers in Noida continue to extract groundwater despite a blanket ban imposed on it by the National Green Tribunal as well as the Supreme Court. Developers have installed long pipelines to empty groundwater, which is extracted from their sites, at other locations.

Regarding the ground water, so the National Green Tribunal (NGT) has at last started taking some action against the developers violating its ban on usage of groundwater for construction purpose.
