W.A. Building Movers lifted this 20,000 sq ft 6 unit townhouse and has now set 16 sets of dollies under the structure as the team prepares to start the first leg of the move over 1500 feet. The building in total length is just over 175 feet long and the brick veneer and stone facade added to the overall weight of the building, over 500 tons. Next up the team will begin to move and then prepare for the 140 degrees rotation of the building.

With the excavation complete W.A. Building Movers built the bridge to allow for the units to be moved in place and ready for a new foundation. Large 6 unit townhouse complex spans 55 feet in width, 175 feet in length, and weighs in at over 500 tons. W.A. Building Movers lifted this massive structure and is now moving it to its new destination almost 2000 feet away. The structure will be spun 100 degrees and continued to a new footprint where a new full basement foundation will be constructed. The six units will then be put back into service. The original site has now been converted to a commercial zone and will be re-purposed to include new structures including a Whole Foods.

There are two phase in this projects. Phase 1 is ready to move in and Phase 2 is almost ready.
