Clomid is a drug used to cure infertility in women. It is not sold over the counter and can be purchased from a pharmacy after having a prescription from the doctor. Doctors like to keep it as a last resort. For prescribing clomid the woman need be be within a particular BMI (body mass index) bracket, else the doctors don't recommend the drug.
