Evernote is used to organize information. It is a free site that can be downloaded and used anywhere. You can save things you like, find, make, see, and hear. There are ways in can be used with students in the classroom and students could even use it at home.

Flickr Storm is similar to FlickrCC. The kids can search, click on a thumbnail and the photo comes up on the right. If you let the students click on the advanced search feature, it will allow them to limit their searches to Non-Commercial and Share Alike photos. An organization feature of Flickr storm is the "Add to Tray." You can add several photos to your tray and then when you open your tray, all the photos are there in large-sized format. It is like saving the pictures to a file, but instead it stays on the website. Anything like this website is good to begin brainstorming for writing.

Virtual pinboard for organizing and sharing interests.

These are virtual 3 ring binders. They are organized by different topics and have tabs that you can click on to find information that you need. There are videos, text, pdf, images, webpages and more.

This is a wiki page that has links to live binders by grade level and subject area. This is a great resource for teacher to use because the binders have already been found and organized for you. I found some great ideas to use in my classroom.

This site is awesome. Use it to play literacy games with your students, use in a center, or even use to help students become familiar with keyboarding. Click on Storybooks and it will read to your students :).

Creating attractive diagrams, such as wire frames, mind maps, network charts, and site maps, are very easy for anyone as you can simply pick and "drag and drop" elements from a large library of stencils. Cacoo covers all the basic drawing functionalities.

This site is a subsriber site but it has a lot of free resources too so you can check it out. Lots of books read to you, songs and jokes. Very easy to use and organized well! Great for younger students!
