Esta web te permite trabajar aspectos de la cultura británica, podemos encontrar datos sobre la familia real, las comidas típicas,... Una de las cosas que me parece más interesante es el calendario mensual con todas las fiestas y actividades que se hacen en el Reino Unido. Se puede trabajar con este recurso en los diferentes niveles de la ESO. Este recurso lo utilizo con el alumnado de 1º y 2º de la ESO para tener un acercamiento a la historia y costumbres.

Esta página es un gran descubrimiento para mi. Creo que con este recurso tengo garantizada la motivación de mis alumnos de 6º de Primaria en temas socioculturales y para incluirlo como herramienta en las tareas interdisciplinares.

Me gusta para trabajar cuentos con estudiantes de nivel intermedio de español, especialmente por los recursos que ofrece: marcadores y organizadores del discurso, estructura narrativa. También es importante el componente cultural. Creo que cogeré ideas para mis clases. ¡Gracias! :)

I am going to use contents related to British culture, which isn´t widely included in the textbooks. For example, students will read the text about Guy Fawkes and they will do comprehension activities such as true-false sentences and some questions. They will also do some vocabulary activities: -find or give synonyms or opposites. -give a word with the root . Next, they will have to give their opinion about this British festival. Finally, they will write an informal letter talking about a Spanish festival to a foreign friend. Thanks to all these activities they learn about Guy Fawkes Night.
