I have used my iPad for PE class as well as coaching. It has been great to have the iPad so I can go over different lesson plans. Example of this is when we are doing a Soccer Unit I will use a app called miCoach. It gives me great drills, great small situational games and helps with rules and regualtions. Another helpful app is called IDrills - similar to miCoach. For a Basketball unit there is an app called IPlayBook Basketball. This gives you basketball drills and games that can be used for all different age groups. Very helpful.

I also get plenty of use with my IPad during the basketball season. I coach the Boys' Varsity Team at Riverdale. An app that I use often is called IPractice Builder. This will allow me set up practice while showing video clips during practice. GameChanger is an app that lets you keep stats during the game that you can have right on your IPad.

TeacherKIT - keeps track of attendance for class
IDrills - Soccer and Basketball drills for PE Class - shows you drills and situational games you can play with your class or team
    MiCoach - Soccer Drills
Krossover - this is a app that breaks down our the taping of our games. Breaks down statistics, breaks down situations - great
Use them for PE Class and also coaching.
