I hate mojiti.

lol yea mojiti is kind of difficult to use. I like the selection. It raises several questions about race. The biggest thing for me was trying o decipher the different messges the group was trying to send. Should people feel bad for the individuals in situations similar to the girl in the video? Is her socioeconomic status being presented as a hindrance or a crutch? As te song progresses, the emphasis shifts towards the latter.

This is a really good video full of racial stereotypes, mainly negative ones about Blacks. I like how the song presents the problem/situation, provides possible ways to improve the situation, and makes it a little more hopeful. You might also want to consider how the attire, attitude, and location of the singers contribute to the message being sent. Are they examples of people who have successfully escaped that lifestyle? Are they examples of how other people can help those in this type of horrible situation? Good job though!

This article reveals the negative consequences of diversity. Areas that are more diverse tend to distruss other races more than the areas that are less diverse. Furthermore, areas with numerous different races tend to distruss everybody including there own race. Thus, celebrating diversity only increases segregation and helps widen racial gaps.

Soon after news of the Jena 6 broke they had numerous racist and grotesque articles in support of the action and charges the youths face. The later went on to talk about hatred toward Jews, "kidnap famous Jews".
Just another reminder that racism and racial conflict is very much alive and organized, even if it doesn't rare its ugly head frequently.
