    The Quran also has Makki and Madni Surahs. The Makki Surahs are the ones that were revealed upon the Prophet before Hijrah. These Surahs comprise of short Ayahs that narrate the incidents of the previous Prophets with their people. The Madni Surahs were revealed after Hijrah and they comprise of longer Ayahs and talk about Muslims.
