Quality Matters (QM) is a nationally recognized peer review and certification process in which online course design is evaluated by a panel of external reviewers against eight specific standards of quality outlined in the QM Rubric. These standards emphasize: the course overview and introduction; learning goals and objectives; assessment of student learning; instructional materials; course...

Quality Matters is "a leader in quality assurance for online education and has received national recognition for its peer-based approach to continuous improvement in online education and student learning." The program features: Faculty-centered, continuous improvement models for assuring the quality of online courses through peer review.
