      Sounds like they are scrambling to get the QR code out but don't have a real use for it yet. 
  • Interesting use of the technology but ultimately useless if it doesn’t stay on the screen long enough for it to be scanned.

      QR codes embedded in "traditional" media can/will address this.  There must be a real time aspect of the information, however, there will always be a need for physical media too.
