  In order to have effective framework in Test Automation, the following points should always be adhered to:-
  
  a) Clear Road Map: There are different ways to design and implement an automation framework. The first thing that an Automation Engineer should target before indulging himself into creating a Framework should be to have a clear road map as to how to build a framework. He should also make sure that everyone involved should be on the same page.
  b) Re-factoring Codes: Automation work can generally be divided into two parts i.e. one is Automation Framework Creation and the second is Test Cases Creation and Execution using the Automation Framework. In a good Automation Framework, refactoring should always be done on the Automation Framework creation.
