  There's been another page rank upgrade in the last couple of days however it appears as though this has only affected sites which previously had a rank of zero. That have proven to be quite popular but are frowned upon by google as the people that enter these programs are in ways cheating to get at the most effective. Most people understand the value of backward links and these link change plans make it super easy to obtain them. In obviously states in the google directions that webmasters should not be a part of these link exchange programs. Webmasters who still proceed are at risk at having their site or internet sites banned.
  
  The problem might be that it is quite difficult for se's like google to establish which links that each site gains are from these link trades and which links are actual real and legitimate links. It's possible that google is close to finding a formula for this problem and is delaying any page rank improvements on older sites until most of the finishing touches are done. My advice is always to never indulge in any of these link exchange programs and that if you are in a single, to come out of it as soon as possible.
  
  There are numerous valid means of selling a site including via writing articles and insurance firms good content which will encourage other webmasters to want to link to your internet site.
  
  I have to express that for someone like myself who works very hard to market my own sites, that it is quite frustrating not to be able to see the improvements in the page rank, as when I see my sites go up in page rank it gives me a little increase and shows me that I'm still doing the proper things. In ways it should not really matter however when I am in a position to see my internet sites have higher rankings in the search engines, this itself obviously is the most important thing. It is also a positive thing that google are trying to stop individuals who are trying to cheat their method to the very best, that is of course if this is actually the true reason why there has not been a page list update for many time.
