Jet Ski and Sea Doo are two brand names which have become generic names for stand-up and sit-down private water craft (PWC) respectively. But just like any other story, these two have their own experiences which are closely linked to each other. Currently while knowledgeable about the names, Jet Ski is manufactured by Kawasaki while Sea Doo is manufactured by Bombardier. Learn more on this partner paper - Click here: top engineering firms.

This can be a short story:

During the mid-60s, Bombardier began a project that will produce and market your own water craft. Its first sit-down model was lunched by the company in 1968 with the name Sea-Doo. Through that time, the business already had an existing industry on the snowmobiles. Here, the name Sea-Doo is an modified version of the Ski-Doo (Bombardiers manufacturer for snowmobiles). However, the company has put out the Sea-Doo from industry in 1970 prior to the brand new line of Sea-Doo will undoubtedly be released.

This is because there are many issues on the design for the water craft that could not be solved during that time. Technology was inadequate then and to resolve the problem means spending lots of money and engineering, which Bombardier could not afford since the Ski-Doo was so hot in the market.

Meanwhile, as Bombardier ended the Ski-Doo, Kawasaki become very aggressive in developing this personal water craft.

On the section of the 70s Clayton Jacobson II, the man who gave lots of inspiration to the Bombardier in expression of design and personal water craft features, bought the rights to his patent to Kawasaki. Birth was given by this deal to the Jet Ski.

The Kawasaki Jet Ski premiered with a little promise and gave only a few hundred sold products. However, in the 80s, the Jet Ski revenue increased and sold many thousands. Browse here at the link official link to compare the reason for it. Here, the name Jet Ski is among the most generic name for stand-up personal water craft.

The Bombardier had responded with the resurgence of the Sea-Doo. It didn't want to get the marketplace of the Jet Ski. As an alternative, Sea-Doo created your own water craft that could be used by everyone (since they thought that the Jet Ski was limited to athletic people). Bombardier had created Sea-Doo as a personal water craft. The look of the generation of Sea-Doo may not be very different from its predecessor but their original problems have been already overcome by it.

Today, Sea-Doo and Jet Ski are two major producers of particular water products and have eared the name independently.
