    Have just been playing with this and must say it looks pretty interesting. you can easily combine pictures, text and video. You can alos create links to other sites etc. The free version also comes with 200 student accounts. I found it in here http://teachers.net/gazette/wordpress/allison-gray/50-web-apps-for-teachers/ which came from the diigo Classroom 2.0 group.

    Celestia is great - and it works in tandem with Stellarium - some more freeware - we started our students off with an examination of the Earth (Stellarium) and how it relates to the Solar System and then you can move on to Celestia - a chance to explore further out into space

It shows a realistic sky in 3D, just like what you see with the naked eye, binoculars or a telescope. It is being used in planetarium projectors. Just set your coordinates and go." both freeware
