kmlfactbook.org allows you to create Google Earth KML visualizations from your own global data-sets

This website looks like a great resource for those teachers/classes looking to collaborate globally with classes/people on certain topics. When you create a profile on the site, you specify how you are interested in using Skype with your class, and then from there you can search for classes/people with similar interests to organise a video conference. 

All of the United Nations education projects and initiatives. Games, quizzes, resources and projects, this could be a core site in engaging students our global society

Another website sharing book trailers - breaks them in to grade levels and could be a good starting point for students. 

This blog entry by the School Library Association of Victoria shares how Mooroopna Secondary College has been using Animoto to make book trailers, it also shares some hints on registering classes on the Animoto site to make videos. Could be useful for those who are participating in the Digital Literature Review Competition that is commencing soon! 

I like how this Year 2 Class has used Build Your Wild Self and uploaded their work to the class blog - great website for a bit of fun!
