Created by the National Gallery of Art, this interactive site allows students of all ages to create online art using many different styles and mediums.

This could be a great way for students to share pictures or tell a story.

Free, user-friendly blogging site. I used this site with 3rd graders. They caught on very quickly and wanted to blog every day. Very easy for the teacher to set up and maintain. Great for private classroom use.

I think this would be a fun way to allow students the creative freedom to construct graphic-novel-type book reports or fictional stories. This would also be a wonderful way for students to retell the plot line of the story for the class.

This website offers a neat way for students to create their own books. I know that I've had some students who just hate to write, but I really think if they could create a story on the computer with illustrations they would love it. The stories can be printed in a paper copy, published online, and ordered in hardback form. I just think that this website would really appeal to elementary age students and would be a fun way to publish some of the work that they do.

If you are a listmaker, check out this website. You can make personalized lists or chose from premade lists created by others. Everything from traveling, chores, homework, and groceries. Perhaps a disorganized student could benefit from trying this out?

You can use this website for digital photo editing and creative work. Some things you can create include: CD covers, captions, wallpaper, trading cards, badges, maps, jigsaw puzzles, mosaics, and posters. Students could create trading cards for characters in books or biography projects.

This is a fun website for creating picture frames, animations, word montages, creative messages, custom images and more. You can invite friends to share ideas and work. This could easily be used for creative work in the classroom.

You can use it to create colorful mind maps online, share and work with friends, embed your mind map in your blog or website , email and print your mind map, and save your mind map as an image. It is free. It would be a good tool for students to use.And it's FREE!
