This is a website that uploads Powerpoints. It uploads the powerpoint and then will change it to mov and upload to YouTube. You may download video from YouTube and place it in your PowerPoints from this site. The instructions are easy to follow. However, you will need to refresh your page after about 10 minutes after uploading. The site sends you an email when the ppt is uploaded. This site takes a while to perform the task, but the quality is very good. I have been happy with the site. You can also Tweet from this site. Greating cards and setting up your own channel are also options.

Youtube can be used in so many different ways. Not only can you borrow someone's youtube for a presentation or lesson but it allows you to download your own video for a lesson or presentation. This is a great way to present a lesson, use as a resource for students and staff members or have students and teachers download their own presentation for class!

Downloads Online Videos Save Direct Easily - Savevid.com - 1 views

Savevid.com works well with YouTube and several other sites that I have downloaded video from. I found that the video can be downloaded as an mp4, mp3, a flv, HD or computer, IPod, burn DVD's and more. Downloading, burning or embedding video into PowerPoints or SmartBoard lessons has become something I do on a regular basis and more reliable than hyperlinks.

Wow Sandee, thanks for that one! I always get stumped and have to flail around when deciding where to begin with video.

You Tube contains many great videos that can be incorporated into your classroom lessons. No longer have to worry that You Tube is blocked at school. You can now convert those favorite videos into a file that you can take to school and show your students.

This is the best resource ever! There are so many great videos, slidshows, songs! This site has it all and the material is wonderful to show in the classroom. The site is free and you can add your own material if you wish to share it. There are some really creative teachers out there! This will be a place you can spend hours upon hours exploring.

This site is similar to YouTube only it features videos, audios, etc. that relate more to education. This site allows you to find videos to use in your curriculum and your classroom to help students understand the material. Anyone can pick from the videos already available or you can upload your own material. Also, teacher tube has an educational blog that you can access and add to.

Discovery Education aka United Streaming is a widely used source for videos on just about any topic you might need in your classroom. I really can't imagine teaching without such easy to use resources at my fingertips.

Our school district has this and I love it! I wish there was more for high school and college students, but it is still great! What I don't find in the way of video here, I get from youtube.
