GUADAGNARE ONLINE: COPYWRITER, COPYWRITING, COPYWRITE, SEO COPYWRITING TUTTO SVELATO GU... - 0 views

Cosa c'entra il copywriting con la letteratura? Molti pensano che il copywriting sia in qualche modo imparentato con la letteratura. Del resto, in entrambi i casi devi saperci fare con le parole. Eppure qui Shakespeare non c'entra nulla. E neppure Manzoni.

Political Debate In Australia - 0 views

  • The largest factor in the three, I believe, is community withdrawal and disillusion.
  • Despite the exponential increases in public education and access to information in the past century, the quality of political debate appears to have become increasingly unsophisticated, appealing to the lowest common denominator of understanding

  • In 1860 the technology was primitive but the ideas were profound and sophisticated. In 2011 technology is sophisticated but the ideas uttered by presidential aspirants are embarrassing in their banality, ignorance and naivety.
  • In 2006 I suggested that it might be time to actually define ''Education'', something omitted in the draft bill, and to explore its role in personal and community life, but this was rejected as too ambitious.

This is by far the best-educated cohort in our history - on paper, anyway - but apparently lacking in courage, judgment, capacity to analyse or even simple curiosity, except about immediate personal needs.

ARC Guide for Educators and Students - 0 views

  •
ARC Guide for Educators and Students The guide introduces educators and students to the National Archives' Archival Research Catalog (ARC). Searching in ARC to learn more about National Archives' historical documents could enrich a classroom activity, a homework assignment, or a research project. - Methodology I might follow with 8th graders who may serve as research experts to younger kids.

Reggio Emilia approach - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia - 0 views

  •
A learning philosophy that I think goes hand in hand with any project styled learning situation. a constructivist approach to early education. "Reggio Emilia's approach does challenge some conceptions of teacher competence and developmentally appropriate practice. For example, teachers in Reggio Emilia assert the importance of being confused as a contributor to learning; thus a major teaching strategy is purposely to allow mistakes to happen, or to begin a project with no clear sense of where it might end."

Big RE fan..Your comment makes me think: Any examples of teachers working with kids on themes similar to the ones we're talking about? I'll snoop around a little.

In my Learning Through Projects series, I wrote about crafting questions that drive projects. Developing interesting, relevant, and meaningful driving questions is challenging. To help teachers with project based learning, Global Digital Citizenship Foundation has free publications with ideas and resource links. The publications are PDFs and are licensed under Creative Commons, so you may distribute or print them as long as you do not modify them in any way.

Personalized PBL: Student-Designed Learning | Edutopia - 0 views

"I wrote a blog about one of the pitfalls of personalization for the ASCD Whole Child Blog. Specifically, that pitfall is the lack of engagement. With all the focus on personalization through time, pacing, and place, it can be easy to forget about the importance of engagement. No matter where students learn, when they learn, and the timing of the learning, engagement drives them to learn. When we factor all the pieces of personalization together, we can truly meet students where they are and set them on a path of learning that truly meets their needs and desires. Project-based learning can be an effective engagement framework to engage students in personalized learning."

What the Heck Is Project-Based Learning? | Edutopia - 0 views

  •
You know the hardest thing about teaching with project-based learning? Explaining it to someone. It seems to me that whenever I asked someone the definition of PBL, the description was always so complicated that my eyes would begin to glaze over immediately. So to help you in your own musings, I've devised an elevator speech to help you clearly see what's it all about.

Experts & NewBIEs | Bloggers on Project Based Learning: Building Parent Support for Pro... - 1 views

When a teacher, school, or district tells parents and community members, "We're going to do Project Based Learning!" the response may vary. You're lucky if some say, "Great news! Students need to be taught differently these days!" but a more typical response might be: What's Project Based Learning?  That's not how I was taught. Why do we need PBL, if (a) our school is already doing well, or (b) what we really need is a better literacy/math program to raise test scores?  Isn't that just a trendy new thing that doesn't really work?  How is this going to affect my child (and me)?  Basically, they're asking for the what, why, and how. Here are some successful strategies we've seen to answer these questions.
