I mentioned Mail Chimp as a great tool for email communication. Survey Monkey is a nice tool for collecting responses from multiple people and it actually integrates with Mail Chimp. So if you're looking to do an initial project assessment it works nicely. If you've got more of a web based product, then for a review tool, Usabilla http://usabilla.com/ is great. It lets you evaluate the usability of your product within an intuitive interface. Both have free beginner accounts, but you can pay more for more features.

The quiz tool we used was http://www.proprofs.com It allows you to embed objects including audio and video not just into the end results, but also into the questions. Many other quiz tools I reviewed only let you include pictures in the initial screen and the final screen. It worked well overall, but I did have some difficulty getting it to work on a mac, so if you're going to use it, make sure you're on a PC or you might lose some of you work!

I've worked on projects with over 2,000 stakeholders. To be sure my project communication emails go through, I've used a mass mailing tool, called Mail Chimp. The nice thing about mailchimp is that the interface is very easy to navigate, you can subdivide your contacts to focus your communications and you can send out well designed emails, which I feel is important when you're trying to express multiple ideas, in a professional way. It's free for up to 2,000 subscribers and integrates with other tools, like survey monkey and google analytics, so you can easily poll your audience and/or see what kind of open and response rate you're getting. http://mailchimp.com

I've used a few different project management tools, including basecamp for teams who are geographically dispersed. Though none have been what I'd call a "killer app" Asana is a fairly new version, made by the co-founder of Facebook. It's free for up to 30 people. www.asana.com
