I don't know if a bill is an appropriate article, but i did find this interesting. The bill is not as bad as those who oppose it in the media make it out to be. But whats interesting is looking at the number of people who support it publicly; out of 500 people only 2% support this bill, yet it passed the senate 93% in favor to 7% not in favor.

We need to apply ethics not only to others, but also to ourselves. We must not harm ourselves by overworking ourselves. This article is great on how vacations are appropriate and can help us better ourselves in the workplace.

Talks about the goods and bads of taking vacations in the business world. I think taking vacations can make you feel real relaxed and when you return from your vacation you feel re-energized and ready to get back on track.

Being a pre-law student, I found this article especially interesting. It really does help to show why attorney's are seen so negatively sometimes. The article mentions how no one wants to pay for bad news, but sometimes that's what lawyers have to give to be ethical; the truth isn't always what we want, but it's often what we need. If attorney's told clients what they wanted to hear, even if it was not true, it could ultimately cost the client even more money and even get them into trouble.

I remember seeing this ad during the Super Bowl. At the time I thought it was a joke because it seemed to be done in really bad taste. I haven't heard much fall-out until now.

I was trying to find a link about learning about good and evil. Then, I remembered seeing this poster many times in the past. I'm sure you've seen it too (or heard about it). This link is to the book on Amazon. I highly suggest clicking on the "Look Inside" on the picture and reading the "First Pages." Amazon allows you to read a select amount of pages. I suggest reading the Credo at the beginning and the Reflections in the back. I, for one, plan to purchase and read the entire thing. Sometimes I think we overthink. Life doesn't always have to be complicated.

This is the reason I don't see myself going into politics. I have friends who are politicians and have been blasted like this. I'm proud to say that none of those friends have stooped to these tactics. Unfortunately though, when mud is being slung, it's difficult to get out of the trench if you don't throw mud back out. Our society seems to see people who don't fight back as cowards or that they have something to hide, but if they do fight back, they are low.

Wow, I was really surprised by this article. Some lengths that politicians go to in order to look better than one another is absolutely ridiculous. Anyone who knows about the legislation Obama supports can clearly see that high school sex ed and kindergarden sex ed are nothing similar; teaching a kid nothing more than "good touch bad touch" would essentially be the end of it for the younger kids.

Leadership is a neutral term, it can be good or bad, some might be found for immoral issues later on down the road. To evaluate a successful leader and their organization it might just be best to judge them based on their achievements over the long haul.
