POWER ON TEXAS, a landmark project of the Texas Education Agency, now features the work of the Texas Association of School Administrators' Public Education Visioning Institute. The group's report "Creating a New Vision for Public Education in Texas" is now included at POWERONTEXAS.COM. POWER ON TEXAS builds on many of the concepts and issues identified in the visioning document.

Also new to POWER ON TEXAS is a video titled "I Have a Question. Why 21st Century Learning?"  The inspiring video serves as a call to action to educators across the state and sums up the mission of TASA's Public Education Visioning Network.

In addition to featuring creative technology-enhanced lessons and teaching strategies at seven Texas school districts, POWER ON TEXAS now also includes a series of videos showcasing an innovative educator preparation program at Abilene Christian University that is preparing teachers for the 21st Century classroom.
