A message from Sharon: Please support Project Apollo Team as they "Ride Out Lyme to raise funds for Lyme research & to support patients! The 2nd annual event, we raised $10,000 last year. The money is split between BAL to support research and ROL for grants to patients over the age of 26 with financial need. We hope to earmark money raised by ROL La Jolla for San Diego patients in 2021, but this year the money is open to anyone in the US. The mission of Bay Area Lyme "to make Lyme disease easy to diagnose and simple to cure" and we plan to submit a "Measured Lyme" research proposal from Project Apollo in the coming year. This YouTube Edition should work! Here is the 'on the fly' video of our encounter with Master Lu. Jan wore the gut monitor for the short session in Oceanside. She followed up with a much longer (1 hour) session with Master Lu two days later. She was able to walk without a cane for the first time during those sessions. Subsequently she has been able to walk (in PT) barefoot without a cane.

Camille, "The reason I wanted to include ethnographic research was to document the organic evolution of Apollo and the PHE including successes, mistakes, progress, setbacks, and other trivial and/or monumental aspects of what we are doing. I would like to have this anthropological history be of use to us as part of our learning process moving forward; however, it may also be something we would want to share with others via a publication or blog post. Due to the latter, we should have an approved IRB protocol for conducting this work as it fits under the "field work" type of research. "

To see the Premium articles on Covid-19 research, you'll need to create an account. This is an archive of Informa connect publications. Covid-19 publications are marked premium and require creating an account to access. I created an account and have access to the contents. However, those marked "premium" still require setting up an account. The materials are professionally published and at first, glance seem extensive and credible. They are publishing in an easy to read and dynamic 'reader' format. It is very similar to what we are doing with Rise 360. There are lessons to be learned from this group. A question for PHE/Project Apollo: Do we want to require the public to 'join' our website to see 'premium content' like our upcoming e-learning courses? I feel the way Informaconnect is leveraging the Covid-19 research to build membership is a little crass. On the other hand, the contents are impressive and the sign-up process wasn't onerous.

Just a note to the data nerds in our group. This is the system I am using as I set up our Instructional Design Department. It is an open source way to insure our learning content will grow into the big vision of Project Apollo and PHE>
