"God's Wrath & Judgement Against Humankind" The Bible does not advocate democracy as people's solution to the world's problems through political government. UnGodly people eventually will sell their souls to politicians to get the materialism and the immorality which their nature demands or to which they're not opposed. Canada & the U.S. are NOT "christian nations". This is not a Biblical concept in any way. Humankind outside of Jesus ARE under the judgement of God as outlined in Romans 1:18-28 below. The only answer to His judgement and it's consequences in the hear and now plus the hereafter is the heralding of Jesus' love and grace. It is each wo(man)'s only available substitutionary sacrifice to The One Holy and Almighty God because of our sin nature and personal sins as explained in Romans 10:8-12 at http://diigo.com/0lk6j . "Eurabia" : National Review Online - 0 views

  • eptember 11, 2001 was for millions worldwide a day of sorrow, pain, and profound sadness; a day of solemn solidarity, self-sacrifice, and prayer.
  • For others it was a day of rejoicing, a revengeful exultation, a long-awaited triumphalism born from the death and suffering of thousands of innocent victims.
  • For iniquity engulfs those who hate, who kill — and not the hated victim. It is those who hate who are sick: sick from envy; sick from the frustration of having failed to achieve an absolute, pathological domination; sick from a schizophrenic lust for power.

  • Terrorism is not a consequence of poverty. Many societies are poor, yet they do not produce an organized criminality of terror.
  • America should not choose European ways: the road back to Munich via appeasement, collaboration, and dhimmitude.
  • After the Yom Kippur War and the Arab oil blackmail in 1973, the then-European Community (EC) created a structure of Cooperation and Dialogue with the Arab League. The Euro-Arab Dialogue (EAD)
  • Over the years, Euro-Arab collaboration developed at all levels: political, economic, religious and in the transfer of technologies, education, universities, radio, television, press, publishers, and writers unions. This structure became the channel for Arab immigration into Europe, of anti-Americanism, and of Judeophobia, which — linked with a general hatred of the West and its denigration — constituted a pseudo-culture imported from Arab countries.
  • The interpenetration of European and Arab policies determined Europe's relentless anti-Israel policy and its anti-Americanism. This politico-economic edifice, with minute details, is rooted in a multiform European symbiosis with the Arab world.
  • The EAD was the vehicle for legitimizing the propaganda of the PLO, procuring it international diplomatic recognition, and conferring on Arafat's terrorist movement honor and international stature by supporting Arafat's address to the General Assembly of the United Nations on November 13, 1974 .
  • Through the labyrinth of the EAD system, a policy of Israel's delegitimization was planned at both the EC's national and international levels.
  • The EAD was the mouthpiece which diffused and popularized throughout Europe the defamation of Israel. France, Belgium, and Luxembourg were then the most active agents of the EAD.
  • The cultural infrastructure of the EAD allowed the traditional cultural baggage of Arab societies, with its anti-Christian and anti-Jewish prejudices and its hostility against Israel and the West, to be imported into Europe.
  • Strategically, the Euro-Arab Cooperation was a political instrument for anti-Americanism in Europe, whose aim was to separate and weaken the two continents by an incitement to hostility and the permanent denigration of American policy in the Middle East .
  • Europeans adopted the Arab-Islamic conception of history.
  • Europe's pathological obsession with the Arab-Palestinian conflict, has obscured the criminal ongoing persecution of Christians and other minorities in Muslim lands worldwide, and the sufferings and slavery of millions from jihad wars in Africa and Asia.
  • The cogs created by the EAD led the EC (later the European Union) to tolerate Palestinian terrorism on its own territory, to justify it, and finally to finance Palestinian infrastructure — later to become the Palestinian Authority — and hate-mongering educational system. The ministers and intellectuals who have created Eurabia deny the current wave of criminal attacks against European Jews, which they, themselves, have inspired.
  • The EAD, which had tied Arab strategic policies for the destruction of Israel to the European economy was the Trojan horse for Europe's inclusion into the orbit of Arab-Muslim influence.
  • With the support of parliaments and ministries, the EAD concealed behind the Arab-Israel conflict the global jihad being perpetrated on all continents.
  • Arab-Israel conflict in international affairs. It could have been solved from the start by the integration of about 500,000 Arab-Palestinian refugees into the Arab League countries, foremost into the Emirate of Transjordan — created by Great Britain in 1922 from 78 percent of the total League of Nation mandated area of Palestine, the historical Holy Land on both sides of the Jordan river.
  • Over 50 years ago the Shoah was the response to Zionism. Today, diaspora Jews and Israel would do well to foresee a possible vengeful reckoning after Saddam Hussein falls and Arafat is marginalized
    • Gary Patton

The "Shoah" (Hebrew: השואה, HaShoah, "catastrophe"; Yiddish: חורבן, Churben or Hurban, from the Hebrew for "destruction"), was the genocide of approximately six million European Jews and millions of others during World War II, a programme of systematic state-sponsored murder by Nazi Germany, led by Adolf Hitler, throughout Nazi-occupied territory. Of the nine million Jews who had resided in Europe before the Holocaust, approximately two-thirds perished.
  • brought responsible politicians to their senses. They had been blinded by a Palestinian fantasy
  • the leaders of their countries looked the other way and pretended that Israel was responsible for the violent aggressions against Jews in Europe by Arab-Muslim immigrants.
  • the desperate move to save Arafat
  • The suppression of intellectual freedom imported from undemocratic Muslim countries, attached to a culture of hate against Israel, has recently led to the exclusion and boycott of Israeli academics by some of their European colleagues.
  • anti-Jewish hysteria in Europe was an advertisement to neutralize diaspora Jews, and the Israeli self-defense mechanism against Palestinian terror,
  • the majority of Europeans, who are not antisemitic, are totally unaware of most of the EAD's policy, since its key deliberations are unrecorded.
  • the European Union continues to caper to new Arab-Islamic tunes, now called "occupation," "peace and justice," and "immigrants' rights" — themes which were composed for Israel's burial. And for Europe's demise.

Bat Yeor is an Arab, historian from Egypt. I discovered this article by her some years ago after reading one of her books by the same title. She has published groundbreaking works on minorities and "d'himmitude" (an Infidel's inferior and persecuted status) under Islam. These include "Islam and Dhimmitude: Where Civilizations Collide" (2002). Some of the facts in this short article are now dated. Her compelling, scary and well-documented thesis is not! Here, Ms. Yoer explains her thesis regarding the stealth-jihad strategy engineered by Arab Islamists which is behind the Muslim immigration that's threatening to overwhelm European culture. (I believe her thesis applies worldwide.) Here she also explains the hateful, demoniacal underpinning of the revival and resurgence of anti-Semitism throughout Europe. In her 2005 book, " Eurabia: The Euro-Arab Axis (Fairleigh Dickinson University Press, 2005), argues that European governments, especially the French, have developed foreign policies aimed at winning the favor of Middle Eastern regimes and appeasing the growing militant Islamic minorities in their midst. In Eurabia, Ms. Yeor also documents how the Islamists have expanded on their own dissimilitude, called "a-taqiyya" (Arabic & Qur'an-justified: 2:173, 2:185, 3:28, 4:29, 16:106, 22:78, 40:28) by using "lie-fare" & "law-fare". They learned the former from those who drove Joseph Goebbels' Nazi propaganda campaign and who fled to the Middle East after WWII. They learned the latter from the brilliant but sad successes of the homosexual lobby in achieving child adoption rights, special legal protections, and same-sex-marriage rights in Canada and other Western countries. gfp (2011-12-12)

The case against Trudeau: that's it? - John Geddes - Macleans.ca - 0 views

  • Frum’s indictment boils down to two familiar charges: Trudeau mishandled the October Crisis and generally inflamed serparatism; he mismanaged the economy and left his successors a deficit problem.
  • he tripled spending through the 1970s
  • Trudeau was crazy for economic intervention, Frum tells us, as evidenced by his nutty wage-and-price controls.

Frum's indictment in this article boils down to two familiar charges: 1. Trudeau mishandled the October Crisis in 1970 involving the FLQ, allowed government circumvention of habeus corpus with the War Measures Act and generally inflamed separatism; 2. he mis-managed the economy and left his successors a major deficit problem. However, the article contains no mention of Mr. Trudeau's unremitting attack on Biblical principles and the traditional family such as his: 1. destruction of families by permitting no-fault divorce, 2. laying the groundwork for unrestricted murder of pre-born children via even partial-birth abortions, and 3. setting us on the road to special rights for homosexuals including the legal right to adopt children and engage in same-sex marriage. Oh my! What the secular-humanist, Catholic, Pierre Trudeau, will have to answer to God for is scary!

Morality has no chance facing off against the Charter - 0 views

  • Morality has no chance facing off against the Charter
  • “The underlying premise — namely that all human beings are possessed of dignity in virtue of a special relationship to a God — is incapable of being used as a basis of public policy proven in the context of a democratic, multicultural and multi-faith society that must cleave to the strictures of public reason in ethical deliberation.”
  • It is to Trudeau and his Charter of Rights that we owe the almost complete transformation of Canada over three decades.
  • ...12 more annotations...
  • The battle over euthanasia will be lost for precisely the same reasons the battles were lost over abortion and over same sex marriage; namely Catholics and social conservatives fail to understand their adversary and where and how the battle is fought.
  • I call this the “majority myth.”
  • Polls once showed an overwhelming majority of Canadians opposed same-sex marriage. Same with abortion.
  • the legal battle over same-sex marriage existed because the Charter existed, no other reason.
  • Section 15, the Equality Rights section of the Charter, is the trigger that allowed Canadian courts to launch such a radical re-ordering of society. In fact, the Charter is a blueprint for constant social re-engineering by the courts, and it is invidious for that reason. It is the antithesis of democratic self-government.
  • This kind of “heavenly deception” (a technique pioneered by the Moonies) is not only dishonest, it is on loan from the very totalitarian impulses that Canadians  should naturally oppose.
  • You may be sure that judges are not about to relinquish that power. The unavoidable reality is that Canada is now governed not by elected MPs but by appointed judges. And they are almost invariably liberal in their ideology.
  • Such judges see nothing wrong with courts legislating a liberal agenda that is (legislatively speaking) unpopular.
  • Any campaign that ignores this is simply delusional.
  • Alas, the Charter is not subject to referendum. If 90 per cent of Canadians had voted against gay marriage, it would have made no difference because so-called “fundamental rights” are not subject to voter preference.
  • What almost everyone avoided in the same-sex marriage campaign was the only viable solution. It’s a solution that exists in the Charter itself — Section 33, the “notwithstanding” clause.
  • the Liberal Party has promised never to invoke s. 33. And Harper’s Conservatives have never done so. Thus was the battle lost.

Obama at AIPAC - Truth in Advertising? - 0 views

  • Nothing here about Israel’s “sovereign right to make it own decisions.”
  • For a year, Obama prohibited any new U.S. sanctions to stop Iran developing nuclear weapons. Nor has he laid down any red lines beyond which the U.S. will not permit Iran to advance in its quest for nuclear weapons.
  • President Obama took credit for imposing sanctions on Iran’s Central Bank. In fact, as of last week, he has not implemented these sanctions, whose passage through the Congress he tried to slow and whose strength he sought to dilute.
  • ...20 more annotations...
  • Obama supported the so-called Arab Peace Initiative, which demands not only an Israeli withdrawal to the vulnerable and serpentine 1949 armistice lines and a Palestinian state throughout the West Bank, but also the return of all Palestinian refugees and their millions of descendants to Israel in return for “normalization” (not “peace”) — and only after Israel does all this.
  • Obama permitted the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) Review Conference statement singling out Israel and insisting it joint the NPT.
  • Obama agreed to a UN June 2010 Security Council statement he could have easily vetoed which “condemned” the “acts” that led to loss of life on the Gaza flotilla, or when he called on CNN’s Larry King show for an investigation into the deaths of “innocent” victims
  • in February 2011, when Obama sought to condemn Israel in the UN Security Council for the “illegitimacy” of Jewish communities in the West Bank.
  • when, having cut US funding to UNESCO in accordance with US law for it admitting the PA as a sovereign state, Obama sought to continue and in fact increase funding to UNESCO.
  • in October 2010, Obama offered Mahmoud Abbas’ Palestinian Authority (PA) that, if it would only remain in talks with Israel after the expiry of Israel’s unilateral 10-month freeze on Jewish construction in the West Bank, he would endorse the Palestinian/Arab Peace Initiative demand that Israel withdraw to the 1949 armistice lines and establish a Palestinian state.
  • in May 2011, after the PA had ignored Obama’s offer and broke off negotiations for half a year, Obama went ahead anyway by calling for precisely such an Israeli withdrawal with “agreed swaps” — a caveat that actually gives the Palestinians an automatic veto over Israel retaining anything beyond the 1949 lines.
  • never publicly supported by any previous president — Israeli relinquishment of the Jordan Valley, whose retention successive Israeli governments have regarded as vital to Israeli defense.
  • in August 2009, when Abbas’ Fatah, which controls the PA, held a conference in Bethlehem, which reaffirmed its refusal to accept Israel’s existence as a Jewish state, glorified terrorists living and dead by name, insisted on the so-called ‘right of return,’ and rejected an end of claims in any future peace agreement with Israel.
  • Obama has said more than once that he will hold Palestinians accountable for their words and deeds,
  • Clinton
  • issued a flat-earth denial, saying that the Fatah Conference showed “a broad consensus supporting negotiations with Israel, and the two-state solution” and that contrary statements by unnamed “individuals” at the conference “did not represent Fatah’s official positions.”
  • in January 2010 when terrorists from Fatah’s Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades, a recognized terrorist group, murdered an Israeli, Rabbi Meir Chai, in a drive-by shooting and Abbas himself sent condolences to the families of the three terrorists subsequently killed by Israeli forces. Obama said nothing, even when specifically informed of these events by the Israeli government.
  • Nor did anything of the sort happen when, in March 2010, the PA named a public square in Ramallah after Dalal Mughrabi, the leader of the 1978 coastal road bus hijacking, in which 37 Israelis, including 12 children, were slaughtered. (The Administration did, however, condemn Israel for announcing a program of building Jewish homes in eastern Jerusalem the day before.)
  • Clinton provided the Administration’s belated criticism of the obscene glorification of Mughrabi. Quite the contrary, she whitewashed and protected Abbas and the PA by falsely stating it was “a Hamas-controlled municipality” that had initiated the event.
  • Nor did anything of the sort occur in March 2011, five members of the Fogel family, including three children, were murdered in their beds, their throats slit, by Palestinian terrorists.
  • Nor did anything of the sort happen the next day when the PA held a ceremony to name another public square after the terrorist Mughrabi.
  • Condemn,” “insult” and “affront” are harsh and ugly terms that America and Obama have never used in reference to an ally’s actions.
  • Gates criticizing Israel last September for giving nothing in return for U.S. military and intelligence support in terms of peace talks and calling Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu “ungrateful.”
  • The words of the prophet Daniel apply — “You are weighed in the balance, and are found wanting.”

Can my enemy's enemy be my friend? :: Aymenn Jawad Al-Tamimi - 0 views

  • Can my enemy's enemy be my friend?
  • Conventional wisdom has generally said that Israel can attain regional support by way of an alliance or coalition of minorities
  • The concept of an alliance among regional minorities sounds like an attractive proposition. But is it realistic?
  • ...6 more annotations...
  • The evidence appears to suggest otherwise.
  • the Alawites, who have under the Assad dynasty dominated the upper ranks of that country's security forces and government, could try to salvage some form of self-rule in the form of a mini-state in the northwest of Syria, should the regime lose control over Damascus.
  • However, the reasoning for courting the Alawites can only be described as bordering on the realm of fantasy
  • When many Israelis think of a loyal minority ally, the country's Druze often come to mind.
  • Another group touted as potential allies of Israel in the region are the Christians.
  • Minority alliances per se shouldn't be shunned, but Israel should pursue regional alliances based more on realism than on the perception of shared oppression, with its need to create a united and mutually beneficial minority front against an almost monolithic Arab-Islamic foe ‏(essentially a utopian dream‏).
