What:
This webinar will introduce the Floortime approach developed by Stanley Greenspan and Serena Weider, a family centered intervention for children with developmental challenges. By following the child's focus of interest, caregivers can learn to use playful interactions to help children progress developmentally. Floortime helps children become more socially engaged and regulated for learning and builds the foundations for nonverbal and verbal communication, motor planning, and social emotional growth. This webinar will present the key components of Floortime so that the participant can begin to explore this method of intervention.
