"Every twenty years or so since the Industrial Revolution, a group of new technologies has had a major impact on economic life. Steam power, canals, railroads, telegraph and telephone, electricity, road transport, radio, air transport, pharmacology, television, computers and information technology. Some of these have been general enabling technologies (such as steam power or electricity) which change the way production is organised; some (such as television) create new consumer goods which command a large fraction of household time or expenditure. Enabling technologies transform business life. Consumer technologies transform domestic life." This is talking about how technology can be used for wealth. This also says how every twenty years we get new technology.

In this article on Huffington Post, Kevin Kelly addresses the fact that we, as humans, do not really know who we are as well as questions the authenticity of what is around us. Growing technology and the internet make people question their identities even more, as they may enable us to change our physical features, as well as make people question what is real. Upon further research, I have found that Kevin Kelly was a co-founder of the Wired magazine and has recently gotten a book, What Technology Wants, published. I feel that this online article is a very reliable source based on the aforementioned information about the author and I to think about the questions that Kelly brought up while I read Physics of the Future. In this article you will find key information to begin the great researching stage of this project. While reading this website you learn that one of the main goals of DARPA (Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency) and NASA are to create an Interstellar Spaceship that would be able to travel to stars that are light years away. This project is what they will be focusing a majority of their research on and giving grants to separate organizations to help them carry out this goal. They are hoping to develop this spaceship in the next 100 years and are hoping to use futuristic technologies such as thermonuclear engines, or sending vehicles across the galaxy by bouncing laser beams off their sails to help create these spaceships. They are also offering to accept new ideas such as anti-gravity engines, and plasma shields. This website holds very useful information.

"The growing power of computer vision is a crucial first step for the next generation of computing, robotic and artificial intelligence systems. Once machines can identify objects and understand their environments, they can be freed to move around in the world. And once robots become mobile they will be increasingly capable of extending the reach of humans or replacing them." This source is useful because it give some good background information on artificial intelligence and also an idea of what it will be like in the near future. The information from this article will be used in our project when we present what AI is like today and how it is quickly expanding. The facts and knowledge from this article are credible because it is from an official news source, the New York Times. This article is also reliable because it contains real quotes from real scientists studying AI.

Here is another great source that I found. It is another government website that is reliable, and completely full of facts. It gives some new perspectives on how to grasp how small a nanometer and how small the nanoscale really is. It also lists several ways that nanotechnology can be used. This is a site that will increase almost everybody's knowledge on nanotechnology.

Great page! A lot of good, strong facts. I liked the size part about just how big nanotechnology is, compared to a human hair.

This source could be beneficial for this project because it talks about yet another technological tool that may be used in the medical field of 2100. It provides information on how chronicle disease could be dealt with and why the electronic pills would be an efficient way to monitor the patients health status. This could be a part of the "Staying Young" topic. We know this is a reliable source because it is a news report from CNBC, which we know provides trustworthy information.

"Recent innovations such as the iPad provide an exciting glimpse into the future of computers." This site is useful because it explains different types of technology and what they will be in the future. This site is reliable because I checked it's reliablity on easybib.

In this article you can find various information about the future of propulsion devices that are planned to be used for the future rockets. This article strictly keys in on the idea of Nuclear Fusion Generators to provide energy for the rocket. Although, in this article they also state that this may not happen anytime soon because of the fact that so far, humanity has not been able to create a generator that creates more energy than it consumes. Other ideas include extremely large solar panel sails that have lasers bouncing off of them. This article includes very useful information about futuristic propulsion devices.

"Technology changes quickly - today's popular devices may be obsolete in only two years" This site is useful because it shares some information on the future of desktops becoming obsolete. This site is reliable because it has valid facts that I have seen on other websites.

Like to drive? Enjoy it while it lasts. This site is useful because it shows a very recent study on the future of a car controlled completely by a computer. This site is reliable because it is on a news website and Fox is usually pretty reliable.

"So, what does the future hold?" This site is useful because it describes how the internet, super computers, and data storage devices will be. This site is reliable because it has very detailed and factual information and it has many charts and graphs proving its legitimacy. 

"Michio Kaku on Artificial Intelligence" This site is reliable because it is and interview with Michio Kaku. This site is very useful because it states some of Michio's ideas about AI and Computers of the future.

"Helping the blind get around could involve less help from canines and more help from computers in the future"This site is useful because it explains a lot about the future of blind people "seeing", and about how the computer can help with that. This site is relaible because I looked it up on easybib.
