This is a colorful Hawk I captured with my camera down the road one day.
I have been stocking the store and thought I would put this up today since I have not put anything up in a couple days. This is the next to go into the store.
Whomever tried to keep the roof up to date, kind of. At one time while at this spot a doe jumped out of one of those windows scaring the crap out of me since it ran right by me.
I told my birds as I was taking care of them, cleaning water bowls , food bowls that if they were not going to eat their seed, I could find someone else to eat them real easy!
The junkos showed up for this treat!
Flower season has started!!
I love photographing our flowers!!
So far bachelor buttons, Poppy,Iris, many wildflowers , and fruit trees are in bloom!
Here are some photographs I have gotten recently!
The Black-headed Grosbeak is the monarch butterflies worst enemy!
These are a species of birds who can safely eat the poisonous monarch butterfly.
And is happy to do it!
This Golden Crowned Sparrow stopped by.
The golden patch on their heads is hard to confuse this one with other species.
The weather has been nice, so outside is where I can be found!
Our life's here consists of several things, hiking is a huge part of our life's.
Guy calls these "walks", long walks!
I admit I am not the fastest walker. To busy looking around I guess?
One thing to be assured of here in Oregon is, never know what you are going to see here!
I noticed this blue butterfly fluttering around, then oh my I noticed a whole lot more! I paid attention for these photographs to just one.
The site of so much blue was quite pretty. Sure the wild Lupine flowers are blue, but these were flying!!
So, what is a person who is armed with their trusty camera to do? Take photographs of course!
When I seen all the activity going on on a thistle flower, well I had to get the action with my camera!
Thistle is a great attraction to all sorts of nectar eating bugs, butterflies are no different!
Some of these photographs are very busy, it was a active place!
I like watching the squirrels and the chipmunks.
This pair of Siskiyou Chipmunks was seen on our National Grasslands and we really do not see to many there.
